The Friendships Online Series

The Big Event - Book 1

Constance believes she knows her online friends very well. Or does she? After all it’s been five years of tweeting and sharing information. So by now she certainly feels a bond.

Finally getting the chance to meet her friends: Stan, Karmel, Henry, Jagger and Estelle, at a glitzy party at The Dorchester hotel with a bag full of gifts and a smile, she’s excited to surprise them all and catch up in person.

But as she makes her way around the music-and-laughter filled venue, and meets each friend, she realises their online personas fail to match up with who they say they really are. And not only that, she discovers a few things about herself in the most surprising of ways.

The Big Event is a story about the importance of ‘real’ friendships and how it’s the little things that matter the most.

A gorgeous venue

A room full of friends

What could possibly go wrong?

After finally meeting in person at the publishing party of the season, Constance and Estelle are determined not to let their friendship return to mere virtual champagne bottles and uploaded pictures of food.

It’s been a busy year, and Constance feels it’s time to reward herself with the spa break Estelle gave her for Christmas. Naturally, Constance wouldn’t dream of taking anyone other than Estelle, and this will provide the perfect opportunity to bond with her new chum.

As the excited pair spend some quality time together, they realise it’s not just writing books they have in common, but something that goes much deeper. After a few Jacuzzi sessions, facials, pedicures, and a massage by sexy Senior Therapist, Julio, everything seems to be peachy until an unexpected visitor turns Constance’s weekend of bliss … on its head.

A two-day spa break.

Sparkling water on tap.

And the perfect massage.

But who’s rubbing who up the wrong way?

The Weekend Spa Break - Book 2

After a shocking confrontation with an unexpected encounter, Constance tries to piece her life back together and is on a mission to finally move on.

The thought of having her friends near is a comfort as they take time out of their busy online lives and meet up at their favourite place, A Cupful of Dreams Café. Everyone seems happy enough until cracks begin to show and all is not as good as it seems. Constance tries desperately to keep positive as there’s so much to look forward to: shopping for posh frocks, dinner at The Shard and a movie premiere.

As things start to look rosy, a few odd tweets begin to pop up from nowhere. At first, they seem innocent, but as the weeks go by and premier night draws near, not only do the tweets increase but they become more obnoxious.

By the time Constance and her chums arrive on the red carpet, she’s determined to work out who the troll could be and to keep them from spoiling her evening. However as Constance soon learns, the troll wants to destroy far more than that!

Breathtaking views of London.

Posh frocks and Paparazzi

But there’s definitely trouble in the air …
